Fantasy Life is a charming life-simulation RPG where you choose your path to a fulfilling existence. This guide, covering 12 categories including Adept Rank, Alchemist, and Angler, will help you master every aspect of your new life. Find tips for boss fights and advice on optimizing your chosen Life.

A Blissful Life

Learn how to complete Flutter's Requests in Fantasy Life to earn Bliss Bonuses and advance the main story. Your butterfly companion needs your help!

Hey there! So, you've probably noticed your little butterfly buddy, Flutter, has some things she's curious about. These are called Flutter's Requests, and they're basically your way of showing her the world. All you need to do is head to the locations she mentions and chat with folks on her behalf. Easy peasy!

Once you've helped Flutter out a bunch, or hit a certain point in the game, you can head back to your house and talk to her. She'll do a 'Bliss Check,' which is basically a tally of all the good deeds you've done for her. Cashing this in gets you Bliss Bonuses – those extra features you've been wanting!

Plus, finishing all of Flutter's Requests is a big deal because it unlocks the next main Story Quest. Just chat with Flutter again, and she'll help you move the story forward. Keep at it, and you'll be progressing through the game in no time!

A Life for All

Learn how to complete Challenges in Fantasy Life, earn Stars, rank up your Lives from Apprentice to Legend, and efficiently switch between different Life roles.

Hey there! So, you're diving into Fantasy Life and want to know how to really get ahead? It's all about mastering your chosen 'Life' and climbing the ranks. Each Life you pick has a set of Challenges, which are basically tasks that test your skills. Once you've knocked out one or more of these, you'll want to head back to your Life master. They're the ones who'll give you **Stars** for your hard work.

Collect enough Stars, and you'll rank up! You'll start as a Fledgling, then move up through Apprentice, Adept, Expert, and eventually Master. If you're really dedicated, you can even aim for Hero and Legend ranks! Each time you rank up, you'll unlock better abilities, new crafting recipes, and a fresh batch of Challenges. It's your path to becoming a true master!

Now, about switching Lives – we totally recommend trying out all twelve! It really opens up the game. Once you're a Fledgling in your current Life and not stuck in a main story quest, you can change your Life anytime by visiting the Guild Master. They're usually found in the main Guild Hall.

Here's a neat trick: from your second Life onwards, you can actually skip the introductory quest for that Life and get your Fledgling License right away. It means you'll miss out on some fun dialogue and the initial learning experience, but hey, it saves time if you're eager to get started on something else! Also, if you switch to a Life you've already got a license for (even if it's a higher rank), the change is instant. So don't be shy about hopping between different Lives to get specific jobs done!

Tips
  • Many challenges occur in Mt. Snowpeak’s Lava Cave or around Tortuga Archipelago.
  • To reach the Lava Cave, head south-west from the Crowned Champion’s house. Nautilus Cave is near the center of the Archipelago.
  • Zombie Pirates are more common at night.
  • The Angry Zombie only appears at night and can be found before the northern shipwreck or south of the central fishing pier, among other locations.
  • For the Napdragon challenge, it is recommended to be around Level 30 with the best gear and potions. Bring two powerful NPC allies, such as Odin after completing the Al Maajik Story Quest.
  • The Napdragon can be found sleeping east from the Paladin’s Watchtower, south-east from the Elderwood entrance, or south from the Mt. Snowpeak entrance.
  • The Napdragon has three main attacks: jaw chomp, tail swing, and dragon breath. Stick close to its body to avoid dragon breath. Shield to deflect jaw chomp or tail swing.
  • A winning strategy against the Napdragon is to stick close, move in a circle to disorient it, and shield when it attacks. Its jaw chomp and dragon breath attacks leave it open for punishment.
  • When the Napdragon roars, it triggers fiery eruptions on the ground. Be ready to run or shield to reduce damage.
