Alright, so you're working on your Paladin rank and looking to hit Hero Rank. The game's throwing a couple of new Challenges your way, but honestly, the real goal here is to wrap up *all* the Paladin Challenges. If you've been putting any off, now's the time to tackle them!

Don't sweat it if you don't see all the Challenges listed in-game; you can still complete them. Just cross-reference with our lists to see what you're missing.

To find the monsters for these new Challenges, you'll need to head into the Dark Void. This area only opens up once you've hit Level 40 and finished the main story. First, make your way to the Al Maajik Outskirts. From the central Save crystal, head south and catch the ferry to Cacto Cove. Once you arrive, go west into the Cave of Shadows, and you'll find the portal to the Dark Void just past it.

Just a heads-up, the monsters in the Dark Void are some of the toughest you'll encounter outside of the DLC. So, get ready for a fight!

Challenges

Tips

The Shadow Dragon is probably going to be your toughest opponent so far. It's a Napdragon variant, though, so it uses the same moves as others you've fought. Keep an eye out for its jaw chomp, tail swipe, and dragon breath attacks. Your best bet is usually to stay close to its left side, circling it, and shielding up when you need to.

Watch out for when it roars and shoots shadowy lightning from the sky. It'll unleash this after a noticeable sound wave, so be ready to defend or dodge!

Remember, to reach the next rank, Legend, you need to complete every single Paladin Challenge. So, if you've been avoiding any, now's the time to get them done!
