Walkthrough

Head to the Royal Castele Workshop in the Castele Artisans’ District to meet Woody, the Carpenter master. He will give you a Makeshift Saw.

Speak to Sawyer, the Carpenter-in-training, who is located below the crafting table in the workshop.

Sawyer will teach you the recipe for Oak Beams.

Exit the Royal Workshop and go to East Castele. Continue east across the bridge, then head south until you find a signpost with a tree drawing indicating the entrance to the woods.

Enter the woods and find Forrest standing in front of a large archway. He will give you two Oak Logs for free.

Return to the Royal Workshop and speak to Sawyer.

Equip your Makeshift Saw from the “Gear“ section of your Menu.

Inspect the workbench in the center of the room to begin crafting. Select the Oak Beam recipe.

To craft, you will interact with three sections of the crafting table: Left (Hold A to slice with the guillotine), Center (Mash A to pound with the hammer), and Right (Press A when the cursor is over the A button icon to use the saw).

You can move between sections using the D-Pad (Left/Right) or L/R buttons.

Follow the instructions shown in the bottom-left corner of the top screen, which will indicate the sequence of actions (e.g., Saw, Hammer, Guillotine, Saw).

Monitor your progress on the Completion gauge in the top-left corner. The crafting process has a time limit shown in the top-right corner.

If you reach 100% completion before time runs out, you will successfully craft the Oak Beam. If you fail, you will not lose materials.

Once the Oak Beam is crafted, return to Sawyer and speak to him.

Next, visit Woody’s house in the Artisans’ District. Leave the Royal Workshop, head east, then south across the bridge, and enter the first house on your right.

Woody will teach you Weapons Carpentry and Tools Carpentry.

Leave Woody’s house and return to Castele Square. Head towards the west exit. Above the Guild Office, you will find Goodwood next to his outdoor furniture shop.

After speaking with Woody’s sister, Cherry, Goodwood will teach you the recipe for the Custom Wooden Chair.
