• 32-bit x86 CPU with math co-processor (or 100% compatible)
• 32MB of RAM with approximately 500k free conventional memory
• Approximately 12MB free hard drive space (2MB for binaries, 10MB for saves)
• 2x (Double-speed) CD-ROM drive
• PCI or VLB graphics card with 1024k VRAM, supporting 640x480 resolution with 256 colors, and VESA 1.2 through hardware compatibility
• Keyboard
• Mouse
• Software:
• MS-DOS version 5.0

• Mouse drivers
• If your graphics card does not support VESA 1.2 through hardware, you may need the Scitech Display Doctor for software support.

Notes on Processors:

• Fallout may have issues running on Pentium clones like Cyrix, IDT Centaur, and possibly AMD K5 CPUs.
• It is recommended to run Fallout on an Intel (Pentium and above) or AMD (K6 and above) processor.
• Some users have reported success running Fallout on a 486 class processor, though a fast video card or more memory might be necessary.
• If running on a 486, ensure it is an Intel 80486/DX or AMD Am486-DX processor, with a minimum recommended speed of 66 MHz.
