Pagurian Boss Guide

Learn the best strategy to defeat the Pagurian boss in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Discover its weaknesses, attacks, and the gimmick to make the fight easier.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 3841 (Normal Difficulty)
• Weak to Earth Spells (Rune of Earth, Rune of Stone)
• Weaknesses: Chain Smash (Nowa), Take That! (Carrie) to break shield

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Young Pagurians: Focus all attacks on one Young Pagurian until it's defeated. Repeat for the second Young Pagurian.
2. Phase 2: Stunned Pagurian: Once both Young Pagurians are down, the main Pagurian will be stunned and fall onto its back. This is your chance to deal maximum damage. Break its shield using attacks like Chain Smash (Nowa) or Take That! (Carrie). Then, hit it with Hero Combos and Rune-Lenses. Use Rock Thrust if you have the Rune of Earth or Rune of Stone for extra damage.
3. Phase 3: Resumed Attack: The Pagurian will recover and can summon Young Pagurians again. Keep defeating the Young Pagurians to maintain the advantage and repeat Phase 2.

Strategy:

• Always prioritize defeating the Young Pagurians first. This is the key gimmick to stun the boss and create damage windows.
• When the boss is stunned, focus on breaking its shield before hitting it with your strongest attacks and combos.
• If you don't stun the boss, be prepared for its powerful AoE attacks: Offering of Ice (ice rain), Eddy Upon Eddy (tornado), and Tidal Pearl (water ball).
• Ensure you have characters like Francesca or Carrie ready with healing spells to recover from AoE damage.
• Utilize Earth spells like Rock Thrust for maximum damage, especially when the boss is vulnerable.
