There are a total of 20 Faded Book Chapters to find across the continent. These are not missable and do not cost any Bacqua. Carrie’s Fast Travel can be used to return to any area. The table below lists each Faded Book Chapter by number.
Mission Guild Faded Books: Four of these chapters are obtained through the Mission Guild. To acquire them, you must unlock all available Tasks, which requires reaching the final stages of the game. Then, send out teams and hope to get a Secret Reward (indicated with ???) with a low percentage chance. Using Larla or Leene as the Team Leader increases the chances of receiving a Secret Reward.
Where to use Faded Books: Once you have collected all Faded Books, upgrade your Headquarters to Level 2 and build the Library by recruiting Mariette. In the Library (2F of the castle), speak to Mariette to convert Faded Books into Old Books, which provide lore about the world of Allraan.
