Unlocking Fast Travel

Alright, so you're probably wondering how to zip around the world map faster in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, right? It's a game-changer, and thankfully, it's tied to recruiting a specific character: Carrie. You'll get the chance to meet her in Hishahn, a town you'll visit in the Euchrisse region not too long after clearing the Proving Grounds dungeon. The story will nudge you towards the inn, but don't rush! Take some time to explore Hishahn first, because that's where Carrie hangs out.

Finding Carrie is pretty straightforward. She's not hiding in some secret cave. You'll actually bump into her a few times around town, specifically on the bridges. Your first encounter will be on the long bridge on the western side of Hishahn. Then, you'll see her again on the other long bridge. When you get a dialogue choice, it's generally best to pick the first option in both of these instances. The third and final time you'll meet her is on a smaller bridge located towards the southeastern part of Hishahn.

Once you've found her enough times, you'll get the option to ask her to join your army. Do this, and BAM! Fast travel is unlocked. Now, here's the cool part: you don't actually need Carrie in your active party to use fast travel. She gives you a key item that handles it. Just open up your map, switch to the World Map view, and you can select any location you've already visited to instantly warp there. Keep in mind, you can't fast travel while you're inside dungeons, and some story moments might temporarily disable it too. If you ever want to fast travel from your base, you can also find Carrie chilling on the first floor of your HQ castle.
