Alright, let's dive into the world of Beigoma battles in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes! It's a fun little minigame, and I'll walk you through how to get started and even how to get some better gear for it.

Unlocking Beigoma Battles

You'll first get the chance to unlock this minigame during the Euchrisse story arc. Once you arrive in Hishahn, you'll recruit Carrie, who unlocks Fast Travel. Zip back to Eltisweiss and make your way to the southwestern part of the city. You'll trigger a scene, and after it wraps up, look for a building on the bottom row, all the way to the right. Head inside for another scene, and bam! You'll play your very first Beigoma battle.

Best Beigoma Starter

Before you even jump into your first match, you'll have to pick one of three starter Beigoma. Honestly, it doesn't matter too much which one you choose. Outside of that initial tutorial battle, you're not going to win many more with your starting set. However, if you want to make that very first battle a bit smoother, I'd suggest going with the Wind Beigoma.

When you launch your Beigoma for the first time, try to get it as close to the center of the arena as possible. This gives it maximum spin, which is always a good thing. After you drop it, just keep an eye on the gauge that fills up beneath your Beigoma's health bar. Once it's full, you can use a boost to deal extra damage to your opponent.

Your opponent has their own boost gauge, so they'll be doing the same thing. If your Beigoma has any special skills attached, they'll activate when you land a boosted attack. Your goal is to deplete the opponent's health to win the round. That first battle is just one round, but all subsequent battles will be three rounds long. You need to win two out of those three rounds to secure victory. Even if you win the first two, you'll still play the third round, though its outcome won't affect the overall match result.

Obtaining New Beigoma

After you win that first battle, you'll get a starter kit for your Beigoma. If you ever want to check out all the Beigoma you've collected, just head to your inventory and look under the 'Key Items' tab. You'll find a Beigoma Box there; open it up to see your collection. You start with only three, and they're pretty weak, so you'll definitely want to upgrade.

You can't buy more Beigoma, so how do you get stronger ones? Well, a lot of them are dropped by various enemies you fight. In fact, most of the 60 Beigoma are obtained this way, but they won't start dropping until you've unlocked the minigame. Once you've built the Library at your base, you can use the Enemy Encyclopedia there to see which enemies drop Beigoma. They'll show up as little discs in the drop info for those enemies. It's super useful to go back and farm these, as those starting Beigoma are really not going to cut it for long!
