Learn how to recruit Mariette in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes! Find her location, the item she needs, and the best strategies to get her charm.

Alright, so you're looking to recruit Mariette in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes? She's a pretty useful HQ character, especially once you get the library up and running. Let's get her to join your cause!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, you'll need to head to Twinhorne East. You can access this port town shortly after clearing the Proving Grounds Dungeon. Look for it in the Euchrisse region, just outside The Greatwood.
  2. 2
Once you're in Twinhorne East, make your way to the center of town. You'll find Mariette there. She'll tell you she needs you to find her lost charm; she thinks it'll bring her luck for an entrance exam.
  3. 3
To get the charm, you need to go to The Greatwood-South. This area is directly north of Twinhorne East. Just roam around this area until you trigger a battle with a Rabbit Archwitch.
  4. 4
The charm is inside a treasure chest in The Greatwood-South. You'll need to use the gimmick to open it, but fair warning, it has a low chance of opening. Keep at it with everyone until you acquire Mariette’s Charm. If you manage to open it early, the remaining party members will automatically engage the other enemies.
Tips
  • Rabbit Archwitches are weak to fire, so make sure to bring along a Fireball spell or any other fire-based attacks. It'll make short work of them!
  • Keep an eye out for a Rune of Magic. Rabbit Archwitches have a 7% chance of dropping one, and it's a great item to equip for boosting your Magic Attack Stat.

Once you return Mariette's Charm to her, she'll join your party. She's a valuable HQ character who can run the library, giving you access to enemy information and lore.
