Alright, let's get Reyna into your party! She's a fantastic defensive unit, and thankfully, you don't need to go out of your way to find her. You'll bump into her naturally as you progress through the main story.

Head over to Dabavin and make your way to the docks on the upper part of town. You'll find Reyna chilling there. Just chat with her, and bam! You're thrown straight into a battle.

Strategy for Recruiting Reyna

Here's the catch: Reyna is one of the best defensive characters in the game, so she's going to have some seriously high defense. This means your regular attacks might not pack the punch you'd expect. Trying to brute-force her down with basic attacks and a few special moves might leave you short on damage.

Pro-Tip: If you're struggling to hit the damage threshold, consider using the Rune of Dark (the first tier one). Also, aim to have your characters around level 40. That seems to be a sweet spot where you can consistently dish out decent damage.

The Battle Itself:

During this fight, Reyna won't actually attack you; she just guards. This means your damage output will be reduced. You've got three turns to deal about 1,500 damage to her on Normal difficulty.

The Cheat Code: Sacrificial Brand

The key here is the second spell from the Rune of Dark: Sacrificial Brand. It's a damage-over-time spell that hits for around 315 damage at the end of each turn. Over two turns, that's 630 damage right there! You'll only need to make up about 900 more damage with your other attacks.

Characters who can use Charge to power up their attacks are super helpful here. Think Yusuke, Yuferius, and Scarlet. If you've recruited Douglas, make sure he's in your Support slot. His attack boost for three turns can be a game-changer. If his effect doesn't trigger, don't be afraid to retry the battle until it does!

Your First Turn: Cast Sacrificial Brand. If you have Charge characters, use that ability. Otherwise, have everyone else perform a normal attack.

Your Second Turn: Keep up the pressure with SP attacks or more regular hits. You should be close to the target damage by now.

If the battle ends suddenly, congratulations! You've done it right, and Reyna will join your army after the dust settles.
