Lam Recruitment Guide

Alright, let's get Lam recruited! She's a character you might stumble across in the Euchrisse region without even realizing it's her. You'll find her chilling in the town of Daphan, which is over on the eastern side of Euchrisse. The catch? When you first talk to her, she'll just show up as ???.

Before you can even think about recruiting Lam, you absolutely need to have recruited Riufan first. He hangs out in Hishahn, and the game requires Nowa to be at least level 32 before you can challenge him to a one-on-one fight. Once Riufan is in your party, head back to the inn at your Headquarters. You'll spot Riufan chilling on the right side. Chat with him there for a quick scene, then make sure to put him in your active party. Now, jet over to Daphan. As soon as you enter the town, you should get another little scene. After that, you can go find Lam and talk to her, which will trigger yet another scene. Your next move is to try and leave Daphan, heading out to the world map. Yep, you guessed it – another quick scene will pop up. The very last thing you need to do is head back into Daphan and have one final chat with Lam. Do that, and she'll finally join your growing army!

Heads up: There's a bit of a weird bug some players have run into when recruiting Lam. Some folks have managed to get to the scene where you enter Daphan, but then when they talk to Lam afterward, nothing happens. It's not totally clear what causes it, as it seems pretty random. Some people recruit her without a hitch, while others get stuck. As far as anyone can tell right now, there isn't a solid fix if you happen to run into this glitch.
