Mission 12: Neotanks?!

Alright, you've made it to Mission 12, and this one's called "Neotanks?!" – fitting, since you'll be unlocking them after this! This mission pits you against Flak, and the difficulty is rated at four stars, so it's a bit of a step up. You'll be playing as either Olaf, Grit, or Colin, but trust me, you'll want to pick Grit for this one.

The map layout is a bit complex, with a mix of your properties and neutral ones, plus some missile silos. You start with a decent number of cities and factories, but only one airport. Your starting units include two Medium Tanks and a Rocket.

• Factories: 3 (BH), 2 (BM), 3 (Neutral)
• Airports: 0 (BH), 0 (BM), 1 (Neutral)

General Strategy:

The main goal here is to defeat Flak within fifteen days. Lash, your opponent, will start by taking properties in the northwest. Then, she'll push towards your HQ from the southwest, while also sending some units to stop you from capturing the lab. You've got bases, but you need to be quick!

Missile power is going to be super important. Use those missile silos to bombard Lash's troops, especially the ones near the lab and in the northwest. Make sure Lash doesn't capture any of your missile silos! You'll want to use an APC to ferry infantry over to capture that neutral base located halfway to the lab. This will give you a place to build more units from.

Once you've secured that neutral base, build up your tank forces and head northeast. Your objective there is to protect your infantry as they capture the lab. Successfully completing this mission is key because it unlocks the powerful Neotanks for you to use in future missions!
