Complete The Last Wish optional quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and gain the Magic Lamp for future encounters and Gwent cards.

"The Last Wish" is an optional quest that can be undertaken after completing "Wandering in the Dark." This quest is part of Keira Metz's optional questline, which begins with "An Invitation from Keira Metz." Completing "Wandering in the Dark" also allows you to advance "Family Matters."

Keira Metz's Questline

After "Wandering in the Dark," Keira Metz will invite you back to her hut northeast of Midcopse. This leads to a series of quests:

• An Invitation from Keira Metz
• A Towerful of Mice
• The Last Wish (Optional)

Keira will also provide you with the Magic Lamp she recovered from the elven ruins. This lamp is useful for quests like "Last Rites" in Blackbough, ensuring you gain maximum EXP.

Gwent and Achievements

• Unique Gwent Card #64 – Eredin, Destroyer of Worlds (Leader): You will receive this Leader Card upon completing a quest, specifically from your last opponent.
• Random Player #3 – Quartermaster: You can duel the Quartermaster for a chance to win a new Gwent Card. He uses a Northern Realms Deck.

Witcher Contracts and Combat Tips

• Witcher Contract #9 – Patrol Gone Missing: Head to the patrol's last known position and follow tracks into the forest using Witcher Senses. The culprit is a Draconid, specifically a Wyvern.
• Even Odds #2: The Wyvern from "Patrol Gone Missing" is an ideal target for the final kill for the Even Odds Achievement. Save before the fight. Do not use Potions, Decoctions, Signs, Bombs, or Oils. Food and the Crossbow are permitted. Unequip any Mutagens. If the Wyvern flies, shoot it down with your Crossbow.

Other Activities

• Places of Power: White Orchard has 6 Places of Power, one of which is a double. Each bonus lasts 30 minutes. Ride Roach to visit them in order, starting from the northernmost.
• Baron Encounter: Deal with the stable, then find the Baron. He will be intoxicated, and you will need to fight him with your fists to bring him to his senses. Afterward, take him inside to discuss his lost child.
