How to Beat Griffin (The Beast of White Orchard)

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weaknesses: Igni, Bombs (Grapeshot, Dancing Star), Relict Oil
• Resistances: None significant
• Vulnerabilities: Wings, Head

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Ground Combat Griffin will primarily use claw swipes and beak attacks. Use Quen to block or dodge its attacks. Hit it with Igni when possible to cause burning damage.
2. Phase 2: Aerial Combat Griffin will take flight and perform dive-bomb attacks or spew fire. Dodge these attacks and wait for it to land. Use Aard to knock it out of the air if it attempts to fly away.
3. Phase 3: Enraged Combat As its health lowers, Griffin will become more aggressive, using more powerful attacks and potentially a roar that can stun Geralt. Maintain defensive pressure and continue exploiting its weaknesses.

Strategy:

• Keep Quen active at all times to mitigate damage.
• Use Igni whenever Griffin is vulnerable to inflict burning damage.
