Boss Strategy: Eredin

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weaknesses: Eredin is vulnerable to Igni and bombs. He also takes increased damage from Silver swords.
• Resistances: Eredin is resistant to most status effects.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Eredin primarily uses sword attacks and teleports. He will occasionally use an ice blast that creates a damaging area on the ground. Dodge his sword swings and use Igni when he is vulnerable after an attack.
2. Phase 2: Eredin becomes more aggressive, using faster sword combos and more frequent teleports. He will also summon ice elementals to aid him. Focus on dodging and use bombs to damage him and his summons.
3. Phase 3: In the final phase, Eredin unleashes his full power. He will use powerful ice magic attacks, including a devastating ice storm. Stay mobile, dodge his attacks, and use Quen to protect yourself from unavoidable damage. Exploit any openings to deal damage with your silver sword and Igni.

Strategy:

• Keep your distance when possible and observe Eredin's attack patterns.
• Dodge his melee attacks and be prepared to roll away from his area-of-effect ice attacks.
• Use the Igni sign to damage Eredin and interrupt his attacks.
• Employ bombs, especially those that cause burning or freezing effects, to further weaken him.
• Maintain the Quen sign for an extra layer of defense, especially during his more powerful attacks.
• Be patient and don't get greedy with your attacks. Wait for clear openings to strike.
