Character Creation & Spawn: After a short cutscene, customize your character. You will spawn in front of the bus station across from the motel.

'Getting Started' Quest: Open your phone ('Tab' key) and read messages. An 'Unknown' message directs you to a payphone to speak with 'U.N.' (Uncle Nelson).

Fetch Stash: Uncle Nelson instructs you to collect his stash near the skatepark, found on a ledge leading to the motel. You will find $375.

Rent Motel Room: Speak to the motel manager, Donna, in the house next to the motel. The quest updates to 'Rent a motel room'. You can pickpocket the $75 needed for the room from Donna.

Check Motel Room: Go to room 1 and step inside to complete the quest objective.

Return to Payphone: Speak to Uncle Nelson again at the payphone.

'Gearing Up' Questline:

Visit Hardware Store: Locate the hardware store (marked by a yellow star on the map, or by walking forward from your room until the road ends, turning left).

ATM Deposit: Deposit your cash at the ATM. Use the 'MAX' button for speed and security.

Purchase Equipment: Speak to Dan at the hardware store. Purchase a grow tent, soil bag, and watering can. It's also recommended to buy 'Plant Trimmers', a 'Packaging Station', and 10 'Baggies'. Optionally, buy a trash grabber and a 'Trash bag' to manage trash.

'Speed Grow': If you tell Dan you are a drug dealer, he may gift you 'Speed Grow', which speeds up plant growth.

Set up Grow Tent: Return to your motel room, place the grow tent, and fill the pot with soil using the watering can.

Seed Delivery: Albert will deliver the seeds to a 'Dead Drop' location, marked on your map. The first delivery takes 30 in-game minutes, subsequent ones take approximately 4 in-game hours.

Payment: Debts are placed on a tab. Pay Albert by placing cash in the dead drop behind the hardware store.

Sow Seed: Pick up the seed and sow it in the grow tent by pressing 'E' when prompted.

Water Plant: Fill your watering can at the sink and water the plant in the grow tent.

Sleep: Sleeping after watering can help plants grow faster and prevent water waste. Plants grow approximately 15% per in-game hour.

Harvesting & Packaging:

Harvest Plant: Once the plant is fully grown, use the 'Plant Trimmers' on the grow tent to harvest the buds.

Packaging Station: Place the 'Packaging Station' and interact with it. Drag baggies and buds into the respective slots, then press 'Pack'. Drag the packaged weed into the hopper. Packaged weed will appear in the output.

Tips

Speed-runners often step into the motel room just far enough to trigger the quest completion.
Depositing all cash at the ATM prevents loss from fines or medical bills if caught by police or dying.
Holding 'Shift' while grabbing items from storage allows you to take the entire stack. Right-clicking and scrolling adjusts the amount.
Consider buying a 'Trash bag' to remove the trash can in your motel room.
It's recommended to keep buying 'OG Kush' seeds as they are easier and cheaper to mix for better products.
Watering the plant before sowing the seed is also an option.
Sleeping right after watering plants ensures maximum growth and prevents water waste.
