[9-4] E1M3: The Necropolis

From the start, move forward and left to acquire the grenade launcher. Turn left; you will see an ogre behind bars and other monsters. Choose between a door to the left or stairs leading down and right. Take the stairs. Proceed along the passage until you reach a bridge. Jump down. To the left of the bridge, behind your entry point, is an alcove. Shoot the back of this alcove to reveal an opening containing rockets and health.

Starting from the same bridge you jumped down from in step 1, cross it and turn right. You will encounter a short passage, two sets of stairs, and a platform. Descend to the platform. Turn to face the left wall of the passage you just traversed. A short corridor will be present. Follow this corridor until you reach a shallow lake. The gold key is to your left. Take it. Turn slightly left to find an area of the wall with a darker, different texture. Approach it, and you will fall beneath the water. Ahead is a short passage; swim through it and ascend to land. You will find a ring of shadows there.

From the area with the ogre behind bars (as described in secret #1), take the door. Obtain the nailgun and shoot the symbol. Descend the steps and follow the passage, navigating a series of platforms. You will reach a locked door; open it using the gold key found in secret #2. Continue down the passage and jump into tunnels filled with slime. Proceed forward, turn left, move forward again, turn left, take the first tunnel on the right, and ascend the ramp. Open the door. Above you, two ogres will be on platforms. To your right, yellow armor is blocked by two sets of two bars each. Killing the ogres above will remove these bars. Shoot the wall behind the yellow armor; a wall will open, revealing a slipgate. Enter the slipgate to arrive on the platforms where the ogres were located, where rockets can be found.
