Walkthrough

Port: Select the COM port your modem is connected to.

IRQ: This setting changes automatically with the 'Port' setting. Avoid manual changes unless you are experienced.

Baud: Set the baud rate for your COM port. Higher rates are not always better. The minimum is 9600, and the maximum is 57600.

Modem Setup...: Access this to configure your modem's initialization strings and select either tone or pulse dialing. Tone dialing is standard globally.

Phone number: Enter the phone number of the person you are calling to play Quake Champions. Include the area code if necessary.

Connect: Select this option to dial the phone number and initiate a Quake Champions game.

Tips

Experiment with baud rates between 9600 and 57600 to find the optimal setting for your connection.
Ensure you have the correct phone number, including the area code, for your intended opponent.
