[2-3] No action button

Learn how switches and doors work in Quake Champions without an action button. Activate mechanisms by walking into or shooting them.

The dedicated action button found in other games, used for interacting with objects like doors and lifts, has been removed in Quake Champions. To open doors or activate lifts, you will now walk into switches or shoot them. Generally, you only need to shoot a switch if you cannot reach it by walking up to it.

There is a +use command that can be bound to a key, but it is not used in Quake Champions. Refer to chapter [13-2] for more information on key binding.
