The author of MUQE (Multi User Quake Editor) hopes to produce a winsock-based server for Windows NT. This server is intended to enable multiple users to edit the same Quake Champions level simultaneously in real time over the Internet.

The project includes plans for a server module and a corresponding API. This API is intended for programmers of other Quake editors to build into their own level editors, facilitating integration with the MUQE system.
