Walkthrough
  1. 1
Class Skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Disguise, Fly, Handle Animal, Intimidate, Knowledge (nature), Perception, Ride, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Survival, Swim. Skill Ranks Per Level: 4 + Int modifier.
  2. 2
Metamorph Abilities: Gain access to Morphic Pool, Biophage, Unstable Stability, and Rapid Mutation at level 1. Further abilities like Evolutionary Advantage, Fleshy Mass, Horror, Apex, and From a Single Cell unlock at higher levels.
  3. 3
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Proficient with all natural attacks. Not proficient with armor.
  4. 4
Morphic Pool: An innate pool of bioenergy fueled by consuming biomass. Maximum pool size is class levels + permanent Constitution modifier. Spending Morphic Pool is a free action.
  5. 5
Biophage: Consume biomass from helpless or recently deceased creatures to regain 1 point to the morphic pool per round of consumption. This ability does not work on creatures smaller than Tiny and is never considered an evil act.
  6. 6
Unstable Stability: Gain a +4 bonus on saves vs. polymorph subschool spells.
  7. 7
Rapid Mutation: Mutate the body into grotesque weapons by expending morphic pool. Mutations last for 10 minutes. A metamorph can safely mutate 1 morphic pool per round. Bracing (swift action) allows for 1 additional point per round. Exceeding the limit inflicts 1 point of Con damage per excess point, which cannot be reduced or healed until reverting to natural form. At level 11, bracing allows for 2 additional points per round.
Tips
  • Focus on close-quarters combat to utilize your natural weapons effectively.
  • Strategically consume biomass to maintain your Morphic Pool, especially before engaging in extensive mutations.
  • Be mindful of the Morphic Pool expenditure limits during Rapid Mutation to avoid Constitution damage.
  • Utilize Unstable Stability to resist enemy polymorph effects.
  • Consider the synergy between different mutation types and class abilities to create powerful combat builds.
