Morphic Pool
A Metamorph has a pool of bioenergy equal to their class levels + their permanent Constitution modifier. This pool does not refill on its own and must be sustained by consuming biomass. Spending points from the morphic pool is a free action.
Biophage
Metamorphs can consume biomass from helpless or recently deceased creatures to regain 1 point in their morphic pool per round of consumption. The time required to consume a creature depends on its CR. This ability does not work on creatures smaller than Tiny and is not considered an evil act.
Unstable Stability
Metamorphs gain a +4 bonus on saves against polymorph subschool spells due to their control over their own bodies.
Rapid Mutation
Metamorphs can spend morphic pool points to rapidly mutate their bodies into weapons. Mutations last for 10 minutes. A Metamorph can safely spend 1 morphic pool point per round, or 2 with a swift action to brace. Spending excess points inflicts 1 point of Constitution damage per point over the limit. The number of natural attacks a Metamorph can have increases with level.
