Alright, let's talk about the Hidden Shrines in MetaMorph. You'll find these tucked away in a special place called Bulwark's Ambry, which is a Hidden Realm. Think of it as a secret level within the game. When you enter this realm, something pretty wild happens: every player spawns as a *random* Survivor. And here's the kicker, you'll stick with that Survivor for the rest of the run, unless you decide to enter the trial again. Be warned, though! If you were working on unlocking skills for a specific Survivor, those challenges reset when you're randomly assigned a new one. So, keep that in mind if you're close to unlocking something cool. Now, there's a special interaction if you happen to spawn as the Captain and you're also trying to become the Heretic. If you're the Captain and you activate your equipment, or if it just comes off cooldown, you'll transform into the Heretic mid-stage. It's a bit of a wild ride! Also, if you happen to remove any of the four items needed to become the Heretic while at a Cleansing Pool, you'll actually get your original Survivor skills back. It's a way to revert if you need to.
