The Metamorph class in MetaMorph offers a unique playstyle centered around shapeshifting and biological manipulation. Key to mastering this class is understanding its core mechanics:

• Morphic Pool: This resource fuels all Metamorph abilities. It is replenished by consuming biomass. The maximum pool size is determined by class levels plus the permanent Constitution modifier.
• Biophage: The ability to consume biomass from helpless or deceased creatures to regain points in the Morphic Pool. This is the Metamorph's primary survival mechanic.
• Unstable Stability: Grants a +4 bonus on saves against polymorph spells, reflecting the Metamorph's control over their own form.
• Rapid Mutation: Allows the Metamorph to grow grotesque weapons and alter their body by spending points from the Morphic Pool. Mutations last for 10 minutes. Exceeding the safe limit for mutations per round can result in Constitution damage.
• Natural Attacks: Metamorphs are proficient with all their natural attacks. The number of natural attacks a Metamorph can have increases with their level.
