This room is super dark, and you'll see five elevators on the floor where the Orange Ghosts pop out. These aren't your typical aggressive ghosts; when they get close, they'll stop and wave their arms. You gotta catch 'em when they do that, or they'll just vanish. Don't worry, though – if you back away, they'll follow you instead of disappearing.

The ghosts appear in five rounds, and E. Gadd chimes in via the Game Boy Horror between each one with tips. The first four rounds usually have one or two ghosts, but the final round always throws five at you, coming from all the elevators. It's pretty random how many show up each round, so the total can vary. I've seen totals from 9 to 11 ghosts, and while 12 might be possible, I haven't personally seen that many.

Catching Multiple Ghosts:

• If you're facing five ghosts, especially in that last round where they surround you, here's a trick: Keep your flashlight off for a moment so you don't scare them.
• Then, aim your flashlight at a wall and start moving in a circle around the room, staying close to the walls.
• The ghosts will bunch up together, almost like a single blob. Once they're all packed in tight, quickly stun them and use your vacuum to catch all five at once!

After you've dealt with all the ghosts, E. Gadd will ask how many you caught. His reaction changes based on your score. If you manage to catch 8 or more, he'll give you a special comment, letting you know you're ready to save your brother!
