Find the Golden Mouse and defeat 8 Pink Ghosts in the Sealed Room 2F (2) of Luigi's Mansion. Learn the best strategy to clear this optional treasure chamber!

Alright, so you've found your way to the Sealed Room 2F (2)! This place is totally optional, but hey, who doesn't love a good treasure hunt? You can get here by taking the left chimney on the Roof. Think of it as a secret stash room. You'll see an ASCII map in the source text that shows you what's in the chests, but the real challenge is dealing with the ghosts!

Before you even think about the regular ghosts, make sure you take care of the Money Ghost first. There's also a Golden Mouse hiding in here, but getting it is a real pain. It pops up randomly when you drop down the chimney. If it doesn't appear the first time, you'll have to leave the room (vacuum the sheet off the mirror to warp back to the Foyer, then head back to the Roof) and try dropping down again. Be prepared to do this over and over until it shows up!

Now, for the main event: there are a whopping eight Pink Ghosts in this room, and they all show up at once. This is one of the tougher spots in the game, so you really need a plan. My best advice? Stick to a corner. Wait for the ghosts to come to you. When one gets close behind you, turn around, stun it, and try to catch any others that are right behind it. Then, when more ghosts approach, drop the one you're holding so you can deal with the new arrivals. Bringing an elemental attack might help, but it's tricky because if a Pink Ghost isn't being attacked, it'll go on the offensive immediately, and losing 20 HP each time really stings.

Once you've managed to clear out all eight ghosts, the room will light up, and a treasure chest will appear. This chest contains a key that unlocks another optional room: The Sitting Room on the 2F. When you're ready to leave this room, just vacuum the sheet off the mirror and teleport back to the Foyer.
