Walkthrough

In Graveyard 1F, tap the tombstone without a bat on top between those with bats on top to make five Mr. Bones appear.

Mr. Bones will throw bones at you; flash a light stream at them to make them disappear quickly.

When you have one Mr. Bone on the hook, watch the others to avoid their bone attacks.

Refill lost energy before the boss fight by tapping other tombstones.

Go to the grave on top of a small hill to make Bogmire appear.

Bogmire will transport you to a circular area where a small black blob, a big black blob, and purple Bogmire will appear.

Ignore the small blob and focus on the big one.

Stand next to the big blob and use your Poltergust (vacuum cleaner) downwards to capture it.

Once the big blob is on your Poltergust's mouthpiece, go to Bogmire and shoot the blob at him.

Bogmire disappears frequently, so time your shot and aim carefully.

Hitting Bogmire with a big blob will surround him with a large jelly mass, and hitting him with a small blob will surround him with a small mass. You can vacuum him in this state, and you can hang on longer if the jelly mass is larger.

If you are going into a blob while vacuuming Bogmire, release R.

Repeat the process one or two more times to defeat Bogmire.

Tips

In The Hidden Mansion (a version of the game), orange blobs roam around and move quicker than others. Hitting Bogmire with one of these will defeat him on the first try.
In The Hidden Mansion, Bogmire appears for a very short while, so shoot your collected blob at him as soon as he shows up.
If you fail to defeat Bogmire on your first try, he will summon many more blobs. If aiming for a golden frame (a difficult achievement), clear the area of blobs before attacking Bogmire to avoid disturbances.
