Alright, let's talk about the Orange Ghosts, or as they're officially called, Trappers. These guys can be a bit of a surprise when you first encounter them, especially since they like to hide! You'll first run into them on floor 7F - Garden Suites, when you're chasing after Polterkitty. Keep your eyes peeled, as they often wait invisibly near doors or in narrow hallways. When Luigi gets too close, the Trapper will reveal itself and start its attack. It'll use one tongue to grab you from behind and then repeatedly spank you with the other, dealing 5 HP of damage each time. It even laughs while doing it! If you don't act fast, it'll lift you up and smash you to the floor for even more damage. Here's the trick to dealing with them: you'll need Gooigi for this. First, call out Gooigi and then flash the Trapper with your Strobulb. Once it's stunned, both Luigi and Gooigi need to grab its tongues and pull together. A good, strong slam is what it takes to defeat it. It's a bit like they have 40 HP, but it takes that two-person slam to finish them off. Pro-tip: You can also reveal a Trapper using the Dark-Light Device. This lets you get the upper hand before it even grabs you. And if Gooigi happens to Burst near a Trapper that's attacking Luigi, it'll drop Luigi and go invisible again. Watch out for that! Just a heads-up, Trappers don't show up in the ScareScraper or ScreamPark modes, so you only need to worry about them in the main story.
