In the Courtyard 1F, get Mario's Letter from the nesting box.

Go down the well.

Enter the tunnel.

Defeat the Ghost encountered on the way back.

Grab the key.

(Optional) In the Rec. Room 1F, punch the bags at the Portrait Ghost three times, then vacuum him. Run on the exercise machine to obtain a key. You must go through this room.

In the Tea Room 2F, extinguish the fire outside with water, defeat the ghosts, then step on the plate on the floor and the plate in the ceiling to get the Ice Elemental Medal.

In the Bathroom 2F, bring the Ice Elemental, draw away the curtain, spray ice on the bathtub, and vacuum the Portrait Ghost.

In Nana's Room 2F, tap the basket with balls of yarn. Vacuum all the balls of yarn and shoot them at her, then vacuum her.

In Astral Hall 2F, bring the Fire Elemental, light all candles, place yourself in the middle of the pentagram, and defeat the ghosts. Proceed to the next room.

In the Observatory 2F, check the telescope with A, get out on the ledge, vacuum a meteorite, and shoot it at the moon. Get out on the bridge to get Mario's Star.

(Optional) In the Billiards Room 1F, go to the next room. Vacuum all three balls one at a time and shoot them at the Portrait Ghost.

In the Projection Room 1F, turn on the projector with A and engage in ghost battles to get Mario's Glove.

In the Twin's Room 2F, vacuum the circular toy in the ceiling and go around in circles so it spins. Exit and re-enter the room. Vacuum the packages and shake the ones that shiver. Defeat the blue ghost first, then the red ghost. To defeat these ghosts, you must vacuum their vehicles until they disappear. Collect Mario's shoe.

In the Fortune-Teller's Room 1F, shine your light at the crystal ball until a Portrait Ghost appears. Show her Mario's Dropped Items, then vacuum her.

In the Safari Room 3F, bring the Ice Elemental, vacuum the boxes, and defeat the ghosts.

Go to the center of the Balcony 3F.
