Vacuum the flying book that comes at you to prevent it from returning.

Take out your Game Boy Horror (your map and communication device). Aim it at the floor next to the chair near the table to reveal a large cheese.

Press A to search the cheese, which will cause a Golden Mouse to appear.

Move to the center of the room for a clear view and quickly vacuum the Golden Mouse before it disappears.

Tap the chair next to the table to make a Money Ghost appear.

Flash the Money Ghost with your flashlight and then vacuum it to receive money.

Vacuum the table for cash that Neville has saved in the books.

Check the chandelier for money; if none is present, return later.

Examine the book-shelves for information.

To confront Neville, stand with your back to him. When he yawns, quickly shine your light on him to stun him, then vacuum him.

Once Neville is in your Poltergust 3000 (your vacuum cleaner), grab the key from the chest.

Exit the room into the corridor and proceed to the far right side to enter another room.
