Unlock powerful Playstyles in Hitman: Absolution! This guide details how to achieve Berserker, Brutus, Dynamite Harry, and more challenges.

Alright, let's dive into Part 17 of our Hitman: Absolution journey. This section is all about those sweet, sweet Playstyle challenges – basically, special achievements that reward you for using specific weapons or tactics in a particular way within a single chapter section without restarting. Think of them as mini-goals that can really spice up your gameplay and unlock some cool stuff.

We'll break down how to snag some of the trickier ones, like getting those brutal melee kills or pulling off some explosive mayhem. Pay attention to the best spots for each challenge, as the game often gives you specific areas where these feats are much easier to accomplish. Let's get started on earning those bragging rights!

Playstyle Challenges:

  • Berserker: You need to kill five people with the Axe in one chapter section without restarting. The chapter "Countdown" is your best bet here, as it has a Challenge that's pretty similar, making it a great place to practice and earn this Playstyle.
  • Brutus: This one requires you to kill five people with a Knife, Folding Knife, or Glass Shiv in a single chapter section without restarting. Other similar weapons like the Screwdriver won't count. You can also snag the [Pitcher] Playstyle if you use these weapons for it. The Prison section of the chapter "Skurky's Law" is the ideal spot for this.
  • Champion: For this Playstyle, you'll need to beat up five people with your fists in one chapter section without restarting. The chapter "Welcome to Hope" is recommended as the best place to achieve this.
  • Dynamite Harry: Get ready for some explosions! You need to kill five people with explosives in one chapter section without restarting. The Streets of Hope section in "Shaving Lenny" is a solid choice because you can use the Gas Pump by the Garage to take out multiple enemies, and there's even a Challenge for killing a Target this way. Alternatively, the "Descent" section of the "Dexter Industries" chapter offers a group of five Guards that can be easily taken out with a Proximity Mine, netting you the [New Toys] Challenge simultaneously.
  • Dynasty Warrior: This challenge demands ten kills with the Katana in one chapter section without restarting. You'll only find the Katana in two places: the Chinese New Year section of "Hunter and Hunted" and the Penthouse section of "Blackwater Park". Going wild in the Chinese New Year section is probably your best bet due to the higher enemy density.
  • Glass Cannon: You need to kill three people with the Shotgun in one chapter section without taking any damage at all, and importantly, without being hurt beforehand. If you get hit even once before starting this streak, you won't be able to acquire the Playstyle. The Courtroom section of the chapter "Skurky's Law" is the prime location for this.
  • Gunslinger: This is a cumulative challenge: you need to kill fifteen people with Revolvers throughout the game.
  • Jinx: Perform two Accidents in one chapter section without restarting. The Barbershop section of the chapter "Shaving Lenny" is a great spot to try this out.
  • Maestro: This Playstyle requires you to get five headshots with a Sniper Rifle without missing. The Gun Shop in "Birdie's Gift" has plenty of targets. However, the Cemetery Entrance section of the chapter "Absolution" might be even better, as it provides a silenced rifle and aligns with the [The Higher Ground] Challenges that also require sniper headshots.
