Master the Ronin challenges in Hitman: Absolution! Learn how to find the Katana, get the Samurai Disguise, and take down targets efficiently.

Alright, let's talk about these Ronin challenges in Hitman: Absolution. They're all about using that sweet Katana while rocking the Samurai Disguise. It sounds tricky, but we'll break it down so you can nail them.

Ronin - Part 2 Walkthrough:

  1. This challenge requires you to kill seven people with the Katana while wearing the Samurai Disguise, and crucially, without being spotted. The good news is that it's cumulative, so you don't have to do it all in one go.
  2. A good starting point is to take out Layla first, then head to the north end of the Display Room to eliminate the Bodyguard there. It's a bit weird, but Layla's personal guards don't seem to count towards this challenge, though you can still take them out to clear the path.
  3. You'll find a Bodyguard on the second floor inside the Dining Room, and there are two more on the patio outside that are pretty easy targets.
  4. If things go sideways, or after you've taken them out, don't sweat it. Just use Checkpoint Restart and take them down again. It makes racking up those seven kills much simpler.

Ronin - Part 3 Walkthrough:

  1. For this part, your objective is to kill Layla specifically with the Katana while you're in the Samurai Disguise. Honestly, it's pretty much the same as what you did for Part 1, so just repeat that process to snag this challenge.

Part III: Countdown (Objectives & Notes)

This mission is all about Dexter trying to escape with Victoria via helicopter, and he's not afraid to blow up the hotel to take you out. He's waiting for Layla, though, so you have a window.

Objective: Eliminate Blake Dexter.

Orientation: You'll start on the lower level of the rooftop at the southwest corner. Dexter is chilling on the Helipad on the east side. The stairs to the upper level are northeast of your starting spot. There's a Helipad Storeroom beneath the Helipad, and a Locked Storeroom in the north-central part of the upper level.

Notes: You've got about four and a half minutes to reach Victoria before Dexter detonates mines he's planted to stop you. If you get into any firefights, he'll blow them and take you out. Once you reach the Helipad, the timer stops, and you can take your time. However, Dexter can still detonate the roof if you engage in shootouts. To avoid this, stick close to the top of the stairs. You'll see a lightpost with a weak support line nearby. Shoot that line to bring the lightpost down, which can help you out.

Lost and Found Master List:

  • Weapons: HX AP-15, Dexter's Ultramax
  • Disguises: Blackwater Tactical Team
  • Objects: Evidence, Hammer, Screwdriver, Plunger, Fire Axe, Coffee Mug, Keycard, Sledge Hammer, Metal Pipe, Brick, Crowbar
  • Challenges: All Roads Lead to Dexter, Stay on Target, It's Personal, Axed, Hazardous, Take 'em Down - Part 1, Take 'em Down - Part 2, Take 'em Down - Part 3

Note on TNT: On PS3 and Xbox 360, the TNT is glitched and can't be picked up. It's also been removed from the Lost and Found in the PS4 and Xbox One HDE versions.
