To craft the Hunter's Armor set in God of War Ragnarök, you must first complete the story mission “Creatures of Prophecy.” This unlocks The Crater, an optional area containing sub-areas like The Jungle, The Plains, and The Sinkholes. Upon returning to Freyr’s camp after the mission, take the west exit to find Helka, a hound. Follow Helka to begin the “Scent of Survival” Favor, which leads you to The Crater.
Once in The Crater, you can undertake several Favors that reward Hunter’s Brands, essential for crafting the armor. These Favors are:
- In Plain Sight: Found in The Plains, this Favor requires defeating a Soul Eater.
- Nocturnal Predator: Unlocked by speaking with Ratatoskr at Sindri’s House after accessing The Crater. This Favor involves defeating a Flame Phantom.
- The Untamed Fury: This Favor requires you to fight a Huntress in five different locations around The Crater.
