Walkthrough

    The Broken Prison Favor is unlocked after completing the main story. Travel to Niflheim and turn left before The Raven Tree to find a broken bridge.

    Cross the bridge to enter the Aesir Prison Wreckage. The favor begins automatically.

    Fight the initial Einherjar enemies. Note a Legendary Chest you cannot access yet.

    On the northeastern side, throw a Draupnir Spear at a point on the structure and use it as a handhold to jump down to the level below from the northwestern side.

    Defeat more Einherjar. Open a gate on the northeastern side to find a Dwarf corpse with Hacksilver.

    Pull the chain opposite the gate to lower the mechanism. Jump down to the next level using a Draupnir Spear handhold.

    Fight more Einherjar. Open a gate on the southwestern side to find an Elf corpse with Hacksilver.

    On the northeastern side, find a prison cell with a living Dark Elf. Kill it.

    On the southwestern side, find an open cell. A hostile Light Elf will attack; defeat it.

    After defeating the Light Elf, look north from inside the cell to see a weakened wall. Use the Blades of Chaos to dive through it, returning to the level with the Nornir Chest.

    Destroy the first Nornir Chest rune (R) with a Draupnir Spear. Use a grapple point to open the gate, granting access to more of the level.

    Go back down through the hole in the wall. Look northeast to find the second Nornir Chest rune (F) on the ice. Destroy it with a Draupnir Spear.

    Place a Draupnir Spear in a wall point near the F rune to swing down to the lowest level.

    Before jumping down, head east on the current level to find the third Nornir Chest rune (T) on the right side of the cell where you fought the Dark Elf.

    Return to the floor above through the weakened wall to open the Nornir Chest.

    Head back down through the cell with the weakened wall and go to the northwestern side. Jump down using the Draupnir Spear handhold created earlier.

    Defeat more Einherjar. Open a prison cell gate on the northeastern side to find the real Tyr.

    A brief dialogue will occur.

    To access the rest of the bottom level, go up one level and pull the chain to lower the mechanism as far as possible.

    Jump down into the lowest area from the southeastern side of the level where you pulled the chain.

    Loot Hacksilver from a corpse to your right.

    Open a prison cell gate to the southwest. A hostile Traveller will appear; defeat it.

  • The Nornir Chest puzzle requires destroying three runes: R, F, and T.
  • The R rune is near the Nornir Chest itself.
  • The F rune is on the ice on a lower level.
  • The T rune is in the cell where you fought the Dark Elf.
  • The Traveller is a tough enemy; use your most powerful Runic Attacks and Relics.
  • Nornir Chest rewards vary but typically include Idunn Apples or Horns of Blood Mead.
  • Hacksilver from enemy drops and lootable corpses.
