Dreki Boss Fight in The Forge

Learn how to defeat the Dreki boss in God of War Ragnarök. This guide covers its attacks, phases, and strategies for both the first and second phase of the fight.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Dreki has two phases.
• Phase 2 introduces unblockable electric attacks.
• Vulnerable to Stun Grab when health is low.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Dreki uses Water Spit (blockable/dodgeable), Tail Sweep (blockable), and Biting Attacks (some unblockable). Focus on blocking and parrying.
2. Phase 2: The Dreki gains Electric Projectiles (unblockable, leaves damaging ground effect) and Electric Shockwave (unblockable, requires distance). Continue blocking/parrying and prioritize dodging the new unblockable attacks.

Strategy:

• Phase 1: Keep your guard up and watch for the Tail Sweep, which has a quick telegraph. Block or parry most attacks. Avoid getting too greedy with your own combos.
• Phase 2: Be mindful of the unblockable Electric Projectiles and the Electric Shockwave. Sidestep projectiles and move away from the creature when it charges the shockwave. Be aware of the electricity left on the ground.
• Finishing the Fight: When the Dreki's health is low, initiate the Stun Grab and complete the quick-time events to defeat it.
