Discover all 10 Remnants of Asgard locations in God of War Ragnarök. Learn enemy types, strategies, and where to find these post-game challenges for valuable rewards.

Alright, so you've beaten the main story in God of War Ragnarök and are looking for more to do? Good! There's a whole bunch of post-game content, and one of the cooler ones is called "The Last Remnants of Asgard." You'll automatically pick this up after finishing the story when you're back in Midgard and head down towards the Lake of Nine. Completing this Favor actually unlocks another one, "Defend Your Valor," where you'll face off against the new Valkyrie Queen, Gna. Pretty epic stuff!

This Favor involves finding 10 hidden Remnants of Asgard scattered across five different realms. When you get close to one, you'll notice a misty Bifrost fog. Inside these areas, you'll find groups of Einherjar enemies. After you clear out all the baddies, a red chest will appear, giving you some sweet crafting resources to upgrade your gear up to level 9. Let's break down where to find them all.

Here's a list of all the realms and their Remnant locations:

  • Svartalfheim: Aurvangar Wetlands
  • Svartalfheim: Jarnsmida Pitmines
  • Svartalfheim: Alberich Hollow
  • Alfheim: The Strond
  • Alfheim: The Barrens
  • Vanaheim: Freyr’s Camp
  • Vanaheim: Eastern Barri Woods
  • Midgard: Well Of Urd
  • Midgard: Lake Of Nine
  • Muspelheim: Burning Cliffs

Svartalfheim: Aurvangar Wetlands Remnant

Enemies you'll face: Einherjar Tamer, Einherjar Warriors, Einherjar Archers.

You'll find this camp in a tucked-away spot north of the Auravangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway. To get there, head north from the gateway along the river until you hit the first bend to the right. Look for a small gap in the rocks on the eastern side – you'll need to take your boat under it. Hug the left wall, and you'll find the entrance. As soon as you dock, the camp will be right in front of you.

The enemies here are pretty standard Einherjar. Your main priority should be the Einherjar Tamer because they can summon reinforcements with their blue-ring attack. After dealing with the Tamer, take out the ranged attackers, as their Bifrost attacks can be a real pain. Use your Spartan Rage to help take down any of the tougher melee enemies. Once everyone's down, the red chest will be waiting for you southwest of your boat. It's packed with crafting resources to help you get your gear to level 9.

Svartalfheim: Jarnsmida Pitmines Remnant

Enemies you'll face: Einherjar Brute, Einherjar Warriors, Einherjar Archers.

This camp is super close to the Jarnsmida Pitmines Mystic Gateway. Just teleport there, climb the nearby chain, and you're basically in the camp. This one's a bit tougher because of the Einherjar Brutes. Your best bet is to go straight into Spartan Rage and focus on taking out the heavy hitters like the Brutes first. After they're down, clean up the archers. The red chest is conveniently located right next to the chain you climbed to get up here.

Svartalfheim: Alberich Hollow Remnant

Enemies you'll face: Einherjar Captain, Einherjar Warriors.

From The Watchtower Mystic Gateway in Svartalfheim, row southeast to find Alberich Hollow. If you haven't been here since the early game, you'll need to climb a chain and then use your Draupnir Spear on a weak wall to the left. Climb up the platform, and use your chisel on the runic pedestal to open the path forward. The camp will be just across the bridge.

This fight can be pretty challenging, mainly because of the Einherjar Captains. They've got a lot of health, don't stagger easily, and hit hard. Your best bet is to focus on taking out the regular enemies first while keeping an eye on the Captains' movements and attacks. Once the smaller fry are dealt with, focus on the Captain. Again, Spartan Rage is your friend here and can really help finish them off quickly. The main attack to watch out for from the Captains is their Bifrost bolts – you can dodge these by rolling to the side. After you've cleared the camp, the chest is waiting for you at the end of the southern path, against the rocks.
