Complete walkthrough for the Prologue of Final Fantasy X-2, covering the initial boss fights against ???? & Goons, Logos & Ormi, and Leblanc, plus early game tips.
Walkthrough
- 1After the opening movie, you regain control of Rikku and Paine in Luca, two years after FFX. You'll immediately be thrown into a fight.
- 2BOSS - ???? & Goon (x2): This is an introductory fight. The ???? impersonator uses Haste, Regen, Thunder, and Absorb. The Goons simply Attack. The impersonator's special move, Ecstasy, buffs the Goons. Focus on the fight to get used to the ATB system. Rikku is a Thief (speed-oriented), and Paine is a Warrior (brute force).
- 3After the battle and a scene, head to the Luca docks. Run after Paine and defeat any enemies in your path.
- 4Follow the linear path until you find someone dressed as a Moogle. Speak to them to fully restore HP and MP. Continue to the next dock.
- 5BOSS - Logos & Ormi: Logos uses Attack (hits twice) and Potion (heals 20 HP). Ormi uses Attack and Pirouette Pitch. Both attacks hit for 10-20 damage. Rikku should use Steal at the start to get accessories. It's recommended to defeat Logos first as he is weaker and can heal.
- 6After defeating Logos and Ormi, the imposter reveals herself as Leblanc. She returns Yuna's Garment Grid before attacking.
- 7BOSS - Leblanc: Leblanc uses Attack and Thunder, dealing 10-20 damage. Rikku should steal the Silver Bracers accessory from Leblanc at the start. You'll be introduced to Dresspheres; change Yuna to the Songstress job class. Use Darkness Dance to inflict the Darkness ailment on Leblanc. Continue attacking and reapply Darkness Dance as needed.
