Arlington/Falls Church Metro: Enter from the Falls Church area and head north into the large area. Cross the tracks to the far side and go to the entrance of the north tunnel. Look southwest to find a large metal bin; jump inside to find the book on a chair.

Arlington Utility: South of Arlington National Cemetery North. Follow the metro tunnel north until a door, then continue north to a fork. Head north up stairs, then east up more stairs. The book is in a room on a metal shelf.

Bethesda Ruins - Bethesda Offices East: A Flamer-wielding Raider has this book. They respawn over time.

Capitol Building - Capitol Building West Entrance: In the large domed room with the Super Mutant Behemoth. The book is on a table to the southeast, near metal shelves.

Corvega Factory Area: South of the Corvega Factory, southeast of the red rocket, find an overturned truck. The book is in the back on a table near Stimpaks and a Mini Nuke.

Dupont Circle - Sunken Sewer: Northeast of Dupont West is a cistern leading to the Sunken Sewer. Use Rad-X before entering due to high radiation. Inside, in the middle room, the book is to the north on top of a safe.

Evergreen Mills - Southern Shack: On a bookshelf near a first aid box.

Fairfax Ruins Area - Car Dealership: East of Fairfax Ruins. Inside the Car Dealership, on the raised eastern area, the book is on a container next to an empty Nuka-Cola bottle. Requires jumping.

Farragut West Station: North by the Tenleytown/Friendship Station entrance. Metal stairs lead down to a room with a locked door. Pick the lock; the book is inside on a shelf.

Five Axels Rest Stop: In the ring of trucks, the book is in the back of the truck with beds, near wooden crates.

Franklin Metro Utility: Through Falls Church/Mason District Metro. In the north-eastern tunnel, after the flooded section and cave formation, go west. The book is on a metal shelf. The Burnmaster is in the opposite direction.

Georgetown Area - La Maison Beauregard Lobby: Between Georgetown/The Mall Metro and Penn Ave./Georgetown Metro. Inside, go left and behind the counter. The book is on the floor by some Beer.

Grisly Diner Area: In a bus north of the Grisly Diner. Follow the road north from the diner to find it.

Jury Street Metro Station Area: Southwest of Jury Street Metro Station is an abandoned church containing Pugilism Illustrated and Lying, Congressional Style books. Southeast of the church, in the back of an abandoned truck, the book is near a bed.

L’Enfant Plaza: From Irradiated Metro, head west, then north past a diner to a four-way road. Go north to a collapsed tunnel. On the left in the rubble is a shelter with the book on an overturned locker.

Little Lamplight - Murder Pass: In the first large cavern west of the entrance from Lamplight Caverns. The book is on a table near first aid boxes.

National Guard Armory - Underground Bunker: In the National Guard Armory, on a table next to the Experimental MIRV and Mini Nukes. Requires access via the Keller Family Transcripts.

Nuka Cola Factory Area: North of the Nuka-Cola factory is a diner. The book is behind the counter, on a table.

Reclining Groves Resort Homes - Bloatfly Hill: Northeast of Reclining Groves Resort Homes is a Barn with a Chinese Army: Spec. Ops. Training Manual locked in a footlocker [Very Hard]. Northeast of this, traverse cliffs to Bloatfly Hill. Near a tree surrounded by Tin Cans, the book is on the ground.

Red Racer Factory Area: East-southeast of the Red Racer Factory is a raider shack. The book is by the bed, near a footlocker and ammo boxes. A Guns and Bullets book is nearby.

Scrapyard: Near the stairs of a destroyed bus next to a red boxcar. The book is in John’s Treasure Box.

Takoma Industrial - Auto Shop: West of the Factory is an Auto Shop. The book is in the back, behind the counter on a desk.

VAPL-58 Power Substation - Power Substation: On top of the Power Substation. Enter and take the ladder to the roof. The book is on the ground near the grill.

Wheaton Armory: On the lowest level. Requires hacking a very hard computer or picking a very hard lock. The book is on the corner of a table near missile launchers. A high Lockpick or Science score (100) is recommended. Use Rad-X.
