Super-Duper Mart

Follow this Fallout 3 walkthrough to complete Moira Brown's 'The Wasteland Survival Guide' quests, focusing on the Super-Duper Mart. Get tips, rewards, and loot!

Walkthrough:

1. Talk to Moira Brown at Craterside Supply. Agree to help with her book and accept the vault suit.
2. Accept the 'Research Assistant' quest. Choose to help Moira with her research instead of taking the 'Dream Crusher' perk.
3. For the first research task, choose the radiation option. Drink irradiated water near Megaton's warhead until you accumulate 600 Rads.
4. Return to Moira and report your findings. Choose snarky/sarcastic/snide dialogue options for a Critical Hit Chance bonus, or tough dialogue (using Buffout if necessary) for damage resistance. Avoid lying to Moira.
5. Moira will cure your radiation and grant the 'Rad Regeneration' perk.
6. Accept the 'Super-Duper Scavenging' quest to gather food from the Super-Duper Mart.
7. Accept the 'Foreign Books in the Ruins' quest.
8. Travel to the Super-Duper Mart, located due east of Megaton. If you passed the Sewer Waystation, you were near it.
9. On the way, look for a water tower and a rusty silo. North of the silo, find a ruined house. Inside, on a bookshelf, locate the 'Chinese Army: Spec. Ops. Training Manual' and other loot.
10. Continue to the Super-Duper Mart. If you encounter Sam Warrick, a wandering NPC, defeat him for a Sniper Rifle. He is random and may not appear.
11. Head north from the Super-Duper Mart parking lot to a small bridge over a river. Go under the bridge to the opposite bank.
12. In the shelter under the bridge, disarm the landmine behind a shopping cart and collect grenades. Find the 'Duck and Cover!' book.
13. Engage the Raiders in the parking lot of the Super-Duper Mart. Use hit-and-run tactics and melee weapons like the Power Fist if they chase you. Loot their bodies.
14. Enter the Super-Duper Mart. Clear out the Raiders, being aware they may have Assault Rifles, 10mm Submachine Guns, and Combat Shotguns. Save the back of the store for last. Avoid the south-west corner for now.
