- 2Talk to the revived crew: Elliott Tercorien (army medic), Paulson (cowboy), and Toshiro Kago (samurai).
- 3Note: You can kill Paulson and Toshiro for their unique clothes and gun without significant consequences. Elliott will remain and provide benefits later, so it is advisable to keep him alive. Copies of his unique Combat Armor can be acquired later.
- 4Observe that Colonel Hartigan, the astronaut, did not survive.
- 5Loot the Spacesuit from the astronaut.
- 6Before the spacewalk, shut off three generators located in the Hangar, Robot Assembly, and Cryo Lab.
- 7Sally will inform you that other ship areas are dangerous and suggest taking an adult companion.
- 8Toshiro Kago is not helpful as a companion.
- 9Elliott can accompany you to the Cryo Lab.
- 10Somah can accompany you to the Robot Assembly area.
- 11Paulson can accompany you to the Hangar Bay.
- 12Sally will grant access to all areas; choose your starting destination.
- 13Elliott can convert Alien Biogel (HP +30) into Adapted Biogel (HP +150).
- 14Somah can repair your gear for a price; she has a Repair Skill of 75.
- 15Biogel potency is affected by your Medicine skill.
- 16Store collected loot in the Engineering Core for easy access later, especially when using teleporters.
- 17A Work Bench is located near the “Teleportation Matrix to Observation Deck.”
- 18Explore the Maintenance Level, Engine Room, and Cargo Hold before searching for generators.
- 19In the Cargo Hold, defeat alien troops and the Guardian Drone.
- 20Loot the catwalks and ground floor for items including Power Armor, Combat Armor, a Minigun, a Missile Launcher, Nail Boards, grenades, a Sniper Rifle, and Raider Armor.
- 21In the south-western corner of the Cargo Hold's lower area, near the Research Lab door, find numerous ammo boxes, drugs, Bottlecap Mines, and weaponry on shelves.

- 30Proceed east through a tunnel, then south, and east again at a “Drone Pod” to find another large room.
- 31In this room, find a “console” to download Alien Captive Recorded Log #21.
- 32Return to the Engineering Core and proceed to the Engine Room.
- 33You may encounter allies debating the fate of a captured alien, which Paulson will resolve.
