Guide to Nox Obscurus in Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Learn about transporters, the Galactic Map, and preparing for your journey.
Alright, so after that long scene departing En II, you'll find the Calnus has landed on Nox Obscurus. Your party's gonna build a transporter, and Bacchus will get it fired up. Right near this new transporter, you'll spot a Save Point – definitely use it! You'll also find Louvre, who's a master healer, chilling by the stairs to the Calnus. She's super handy for topping off your HP and MP whenever you need it.
So, the Morphus have set up these transporters on different planets. The Calnus is staying put on Nox Obscurus, but these transporters let you hop between planets. Checking out the transporter here opens up the Galactic Map, and you'll see some new spots you can visit:
- Planet Aeos - Exploration Base
- Planet Lemuris - Triom, Woodley
- Planet Roak - Tatroi, Astral, Tropp
- En II - Elevator Room, Centropolis
- Nox Obscurus - Landing Site
When you warp to one of these places, you'll pop out at a Transfer Symbol, which is basically another transporter circle. To leave, just head back to the Transfer Symbol and pick a new destination from the Galactic Map. Keep in mind, the Calnus stays on Nox Obscurus. If you need to reset Gathering Points or mess with Item Creation, you'll have to warp back to Nox Obscurus and board the Calnus there.
Before you dive headfirst into the dangers of Nox Obscurus, it's a good idea to take care of some other stuff. Maybe do some side quests or stock up!
