Ship Furnishings

Learn how to accessorize your Calnus ship in Star Ocean: The Last Hope with furnishings. Discover item locations, sizes, and their uses, including vending machines and healing items.

You can accessorize the Calnus with furnishings found throughout the game or created yourself. These can be placed on glowing squares found on the ship, categorized by size: S-Sized, M-Sized, or L-Sized. S-Sized squares are on desks in sleeping rooms. M-Sized squares are on the floor by exits near the main-level Save Point and behind the Battle Simulator terminal. L-Sized squares are on the floor near windows in the upper right of the Recreation Room. While most furnishings have limited utility, the L-Sized Li'l Vending Machines offer a convenient way to purchase recovery items and Item Creation ingredients.

Here is a list of available furnishings:

• Aroma of Love — S-Sized, found via Item Creation - Compounding. A perfume with a dangerous scent that causes those who catch a whiff to fall madly in love.
• Biorhythm Tester — S-Sized, found via Item Creation - Engineering. A gadget that measures everyone's biorhythms.
• Boy's Gift Box — M-Sized, found via Item Creation - Crafting. A mysterious box that attracts presents when left out.
• Bunny Plush — S-Sized, found via Item Creation - Crafting. A stuffed animal that makes everyone around it smile.
• Curing Sheet — M-Sized, found as treasure in Woodley. A sheet with a curing symbol that cures illnesses of those who stand on it.
• Echo Machine — S-Sized, found via Quest: The Unopenable Chest. A device that can control echo effects nearby and can be switched on and off.
• Girl's Gift Box — M-Sized, found as treasure in Tatroi. A mysterious box that attracts presents when left out.
• Healing Sheet — M-Sized, found via Item Creation - Artistry. A sheet that restores the HP of those who stand on it.
• Jukebox — L-Sized, found via Item Creation - Engineering. A music player for listening to unlocked songs.
• Li'l Vending Machine No. 1 — L-Sized, found as treasure on the Cardianon Mothership. A handy vending machine for buying and selling items at any time.
• Li'l Vending Machine No. 2 — L-Sized, found via Item Creation - Engineering. .
• Li'l Vending Machine No. 3 — L-Sized, found as treasure in Wandering Dungeon. .
• Memory Plate — M-Sized, found via Item Creation - Smithery. A special plate used to store records of past accomplishments.
• Mood Stone — S-Sized, found via Item Creation - Alchemy. A stone designed to make those in its vicinity feel more cheerful.
• Ominous Metal — S-Sized, found via Item Creation - Alchemy. A loathsome stone that gives everyone around it the creeps.
