After passing through the short tunnel entrance, you will encounter a Harpy. They rarely drop Cashmere, an item needed for a Shop Order at Black Cat Materials in Tatroi. Boosting Meracle's Ornithology skill increases the chance of obtaining it.

The eastern part of the Tropp Area is an extension of the Astral Desert with vegetation appearing around the edges. There are quicksand trenches. The western trench runs across the zone and is impassable if your bunny was released earlier. A detour is required to cross.

Collect items from the Treasure Chests and Gathering Points in the eastern half of the Tropp Area and head toward the northeast exit to the Cave to the Purgatorium.

The Cave to the Purgatorium connects the east and west halves of the Tropp Area, as well as the Purgatorium Area to the north. You will encounter Vomiting Gels and Corpse Bats here, which can inflict Fog status. Fog status hinders targeting with physical attacks and can be cured with a Glowstick or Edge's Cure Condition skill. Fog status also ends automatically after battle.

The Mining Point may yield Coal, an ingredient for Steel via Edge's Smithery Item Creation skill. Steel can be used to craft the Venom Sword for Edge and the Elastic Rapier for Faize. You can collect items from the Mining Point without needing to exit to the Purgatorium Area yet, as you will return soon.

Passing through the cave, you will see floating red lights called Crimson Fireflies. Pressing / near them allows you to catch them. Catching as many as possible is recommended as they will be useful later.

Continue following the tunnel west and exit to the western half of the Tropp Area. Before proceeding west, return to the east half of the Tropp Area to access a Treasure Chest and Harvesting Point on the other side of the quicksand trench. Then, open the remaining two Treasure Chests in the western half of the Tropp Area and enter the village of Tropp.
