Place Tree

Learn how to plant trees by clicking repeatedly (6-7 times) or remove them instantly with a Shift-click in SimCity 2000.

The Place Tree tool allows you to plant trees on tiles within your city. Each click of the button plants one tree. To fill a tile with multiple trees, you can click on the same tile repeatedly. It should take approximately 6 or 7 clicks to fill a tile with trees.

To efficiently remove trees without switching to the bulldozer tool, you can use a keyboard shortcut. Hold down the Shift key while using the tree tool. Clicking on a tile with the Shift key held down will remove all trees from that tile in a single click.
