The Mayor's House is a 2x2 building that you receive as your first reward. When you query the building, you will see either cheers or boos, which depend on your current approval rating. This approval rating is displayed in the query window. You will also see a "built-in" date, which is the year the building was constructed, the number of employees, and the number of doorstops.
The number of employees is a randomly determined number that decrements by one per year until it reaches zero. The number of doorstops starts at zero and increments by one per year until the number of employees reaches zero.
