Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Part 20 guide covers campaign walkthrough structure, difficulty differences, and starting items for Easy and Hard modes.
Walkthrough
- 1The main campaign walkthrough is broken into eight chapters corresponding to major locales and plot points.
- 2The walkthrough accounts for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis's dynamic scripting system, detailing branching paths based on player decisions.
- 3Use your web browser or text editor's "Find" function to navigate between sections when you make decisions that lead down different paths.
- 4Each play area between "loading doors" is designated as a "room" with a unique room number and name (e.g., "101 Warehouse"). A full list of map areas and rooms can be found in the Appendix under section [9.3].
Difficulty Selection:
Before starting the main campaign of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, consider your difficulty options: EASY and HARD.
- EASY: Jill begins with a fully loaded ASSAULT RIFLE and a FIRST AID BOX containing three FIRST AID SPRAYS. In addition to the KNIFE and RELOADING TOOL, the Item Box contains an infinite-use INK RIBBON, a MAGNUM, 24 MAGNUM ROUNDS, a SHOTGUN, 56 SHOTGUN SHELLS, a HANDGUN, 250 H.GUN BULLETS, and two extra magazines of A.R. BULLETS. Jill's attacks deal greater damage, and enemies deal less damage to Jill. Ammo items yield double the quantity of rounds compared to HARD difficulty. However, Nemesis does not drop item cases upon defeat, and the MINE THROWER weapon is absent.
- HARD: Jill begins with only the HANDGUN in her inventory, and the KNIFE and RELOADING TOOL in the Item Box. Jill deals less damage, and enemies deal more damage. Ammo items yield half the quantity of rounds compared to EASY difficulty. Nemesis does drop item cases upon defeat, and the MINE THROWER can be collected from the Clock Tower.
Tips
- This walkthrough is primarily written for players starting a new game on HARD difficulty.
- On EASY, you start with more items, but Nemesis won't drop special items, and you cannot acquire the MINE THROWER.
- On HARD, Nemesis drops item cases upon defeat.
