Alright, so you've made it to Dewford Town! From here, we're going to head east onto Route 107. The main thing to do here is surf, so get ready to hop on your Pokémon and ride the waves. You'll encounter a bunch of trainers out here, and battling them is a great way to level up your team and earn some cash.

Start by surfing east from Dewford Town. Take on Swimmer Denise first, then keep heading east. After battling the next swimmer, continue surfing right until you spot two trainers to your north. Battle them, then turn your attention to the trainer to their right. Keep surfing east, and you'll find two more trainers – you can battle them separately or together if you want a double battle. A little more surfing to the right and you'll arrive on Route 108.

Once you're on Route 108, head right and battle the first trainer you encounter. Then, take on the trainer just to their right. Continue all the way right until you spot the Abandoned Ship. Don't worry about going inside just yet, we'll come back to it! For now, head south of the ship and battle the trainer there. Then, go north to find a spot with two trainers. You can initiate a double battle here, which is a great way to rack up experience and cash. After that, grab the Star Piece nearby. Finally, battle the trainer to the south and east of this double battle spot, and then surf east to reach Route 109.
