Discover how to access new areas in the Safari Zone in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire to catch Pokémon from Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Includes locations and tips.
After beating the Elite Four in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, two new areas of the Safari Zone become accessible, containing Pokémon originally from Gold, Silver, and Crystal that cannot be found elsewhere in the game. To reach these areas, fly to Lilycove City and head west onto Route 121. Enter the Safari Zone and pay the entrance fee.
To reach Area F: From the starting point, head north. Look for a path to your right; take it. The guards blocking the route will be gone. Continue east to enter the new area.

- Mareep (Common): An Electric-type that evolves into Flaffy (Level 15) and Ampharos (Level 30). It has solid Special Attack but low speed.
- Aipom (Uncommon): A Normal-type with decent speed but generally not worth using due to poor overall stats. It does not evolve.
