Explore Fallarbor Town in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Learn about Lanette, the Move Tutor, and the PokeMart items.
When you enter Fallarbor Town, first go into the Pokémon Center to heal your Pokémon. Speak with the woman at the PC; this is Lanette, the inventor of the PC storage system. She will thank you for using her system, and it will be renamed from "Someone's PC" to "Lanette's PC".
After healing your Pokémon, exit the Pokémon Center. If you wish, enter the PokéMart. A person inside will teach Metronome to one of your Pokémon. Metronome strikes out a random move, which could be any move in the game, offering a risky but fun option if you have an empty move slot.
Next, enter the house to the left of the Battle Tent. Here you will find another Move Tutor who can teach your Pokémon moves they have forgotten by leveling up, provided they knew the move at some point. Each move taught requires a Heart Scale, which you cannot obtain at this moment.
Leave this house and head south. Enter the house to the left of the PokéMart. Speak with Professor Cozmo's assistant to learn that Cozmo has gone to Meteor Falls with Team Magma to steal a Meteorite. To leave Fallarbor Town, head west onto Route 114.
