Tackle the last sidequests in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom! Find new citizens, unlock research, and upgrade your kingdom to level 4 with this guide.

Alright, you've reached the end game in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, and it's time to wrap up those loose ends! If you've been keeping up with your Leafbook, you'll notice three new Ones to Watch posts have popped up. These are your final sidequests, and the trickiest part is just finding the folks who offer them. Head to the overworld in the Ding Dong Dell region. Look at your map – you should spot a quest marker way up on a high ledge, northeast of the “Rolling Hills” area. That’s Dekkah, and talking to him kicks off [160 Dekkah’s Grand Tour].

Doing Dekkah's quest first is a smart move because it'll help you get a head start on a few others, or at least get you the recipe book you need for them. You'll finally be able to finish up [Sidequest 055], plus two new ones you picked up back in Evermore: [Sidequest 167] and [Sidequest 168].

Beyond those, your priority should be sidequests that nab you new citizens. There aren't too many left, but completing them will let you upgrade your kingdom to level 4. While this upgrade isn't as game-changing as the earlier ones, it does let you max out specific resource facilities, unlocking some neat new items. You can also upgrade your coffers, though if you've been diligent with Evermore, you might not find much use for them anymore.

Reaching the postgame also unlocks the final research opportunities in your Outfitters, Weapon Workshop, and Higglery. The catch with these equipment upgrades is that they require materials from the Faraway Forest Maze. Upgrading your kingdom to level 4 also unlocks five new sidequests, each rewarding you with a new outfit for everyone except Evan. Naturally, these also need materials from the Faraway Forest Maze, so it looks like that's your next big objective. It'll probably take a few trips through there, but before we dive headfirst into that, let's clean up a few other things first.

  • [159 A Man of Many Names]
  • [160 Dekkah’s Grand Tour]
